Sandtown-Winchester Community Pop Up Center

If you are a Sandtown-Winchester resident and are in need of Energy Assistance, Water Bill Discount, Food Vouchers, EarnBenefits Ccreenings, FREE food boxes and water and Financial Education, please visit us at the NAACP Satellite Office | 1135 N. Gilmor St. Monday - Friday from 9am - 3pm for assistance. Assistance will be provided until Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Anyone in need of services after June 30, please visit the Northwest Community Action Center. For more information, please call 410-545-6958.

Community Action Day

Please join us as we celebrate Community Action Month. On Tuesday, May, 19, 2015 at ALL centers will host a Community Action Month celebration. The celebration is FREE and will offer residents FREE Health Screenings, Cooking & Fitness Demonstrations, Resources from Numerous Service Providers and MORE!!

Community Action Day will be held from 9am – 12pm at ALL Community Action Centers. For more information, please call 410-545-6958

Community Continuum Resource Fair

On Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 10:00am-2:00pm at the War Memorial | 101 N. Gay St. the Mayor’s Office of Human Services, the Department of Public Safety & Correctional Services, and Baltimore Safe & Sound Campaign will host The Elevation—a Community Continuum Resource Fair.

The Community Continuum Resource Fair is a FREE event for those returning from incarceration and their families. The resource fair will have numerous service providers on hand to offer assistance for returning citizens entering back into the community. For more information, please call 410-545-6958.
